MSI has just revealed their newest line of laptops designed specifically for PC gaming. All of the manufacturer’s new notebooks are built on Intel’s latest 6th generation Core processors, the Skylake architecture.
The new notebooks include the Dominator, Stealth, Ghost, and Apache, each designed to meet the different needs of gamers looking to go mobile. The Dominator and Dominator Pro offer the most power, utilizing Nvidia’s GeGorce GTX 980M mobile graphics card. It also takes advantage of MSI’s Super RAID 4 by combining a 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD for storage, as well up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM. These specs are undoubtedly strong enough for 2K gaming, but MSI has somewhat strangely chosen to give the Dominator a 1080p display. The new Stealth notebook, however, features a GTX 970M that powers a 3840×2160 display for those looking to play games at even higher resolution. The other products feature a range of specs and form factors, and range in price from $1500 to about $2700.
