Tom’s Hardware – Best Graphics Cards for the Money

After an unusual four month gap, Tom’s Hardware has updated their famous Graphics Card Buyer’s Guide. Since the last update the Radeon R9, Radeon R9 Fury, Radeon R9 Fury X, and GeForce GTX 950 have all been released by AMD and Nvidia.

The updated guide spells out the best graphics cards in categories based on price range, from $65 all the way to $640, as well as the best GPUs for Crossfire/SLI setups, and finally the best performance-per-dollar GPU, seen below.

To finish off the guide, Tom’s has provided one massive list of graphics cards, the GPU Hierarchy Chart. This long list covers every graphics card you could possibly consider buying, from the enthusiast GTX Titan Z and R9 295X2, all the way down to the ancient Nvidia TNT. If you’re thinking about picking up a new GPU, you should definitely consult Tom’s Hardware before making a decision.
