You already use your iPhone for everything else in your life, why not use it as your wallet? Apple introduces Apple Pay, a smart and secure way to pay in stores through your smartphone. Apple pay is simple to use and works with cards you use everyday. Credit and debit card information are never shared when you use Apple Pay, in fact, they aren’t stored on your device at all. Using Apple Pay is a safe and more private way to pay.
Now, Apple Pay is not available on all iPhone models. The newest models iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S have this feature. Simply hold your iPhone near the contactless reader with your finger on the Touch ID home button and your card is scanned. Say goodbye to the days of searching for your wallet in that huge purse of yours, or deciding what card to use while you’re holding up the line at the store. Apple Pay is a convenient way to make purchases daily.
How do you import your debit or credit cards you ask? Well the “Wallet” app already store your boarding passes, tickets, and now it holds your credit or debit cards. To begin, add your card from your iTunes account.
This new safe way to pay is completely centered around the use of your private fingerprint. Never worry about someone stealing your card and having to use your credit or debit cards, this is a secure feature that will soon take off across the world in retail and other stores.
